Decking the Halls

Christmas season is absolutely the most wonderful time of the year. There are so many beautiful things about this season. One of my favorite ones being decorating for the season. I personally love to decorate as early as I can- for me that's November 1. Halloween is done, and that means its Christmas decorating season. Personally I love to start with a blank slate. Take everything down, clean, and then get ready for Christmas. I have a lot of decor for Christmas, and continue to buy/make more every year (I just can't help myself). I put up all my decor and garlands before I even think about doing my Christmas tree. My Christmas tree ties everything together at the end for me, so that's my preference on how to do it. I like to decorate with how I am feeling- I don't put the same decor in the same place year after year. (However there are some things that just happen to end up in the same place year after year). I enjoy walking around and deciding in that moment how I want to decorate, I don't love planning things out, I feel like I love to let my inner creativity come out that way.
